Schedule of Events

Join us on January 10, 2026 as we cut the ribbon and celebrate the official opening of the new Gahanna Lincoln High School! Step inside the incredible new building, walk the halls of the old high school one last time and share in the excitement of the day.

The schedule for the day is as follows:

10:30 a.m.	Ribbon Cutting ends and self-guided tours at the old and new GLHS begin along designated routes. (for those who attended the ribbon cutting ceremony)	For those who attended ribbon cutting ceremony: Tour for new building begins in new gymnasium. Thank you for your flexibility during the temporary inconveniences, noise and adjustments to traffic patterns. Your commitment to seeing this vision through has resulted in a magnificent, modern facility that will serve generations of students, and we are immensely thankful for your partnership in making this dream a reality.

Gahanna Lincoln High School is situated at the corner of Hamilton Road and Havens Corners Road at 140 S. Hamilton Road, Gahanna, OH 43230.

To enter for the ribbon cutting, please enter at the south end of the new building through the athletic entrance on the side closest to the football field. The shuttle from Clark Hall will drop you off at the correct entrance. If you park elsewhere, this is the only entrance available for the ribbon cutting.

Starting at 11 a.m. and for the remainder of the day, you can enter the new building through the athletics entrance on the south end by foot or by shuttle, or the main entrance on the north end closest to Havens Corners Road by foot only. The old GLHS can be accessed through the main entrance, either by foot or by shuttle, and the entrance on the south end of the building near the cafeteria by foot.

Parking on the high school site is available to the south (nearest City Hall) and west (along Hamilton Road) of the existing building. This parking will not have shuttle service to either building. We encourage you to park at Clark Hall where we will have shuttle service running throughout the day between the lot and each building. Accessible parking is available to the south of the stadium (ONLY those with disability placards may park in this lot).

After years of planning and dedicated work, we are thrilled to open the doors to this state-of-the-art facility, which represents a profound investment in the future of our students and the vitality of our community.

Self-Guided Tours: Old & New Building

We are proud to offer the opportunity for our community to walk through the halls of the old GLHS one final time and see the future of education in GJPS by walking through the new GLHS all on the same day!

Join us for self-guided tours along a designated route highlighting favorite spaces and unique features.

Tours of the new building will begin for Ribbon Cutting Ceremony attendees directly following the conclusion of the ceremony.
Beginning at 11 a.m., both buildings will be open for exploration by those who did not attend the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
The final entrance into either building for a self-guided tour will be at 2:30 p.m. and the doors will close at 3 p.m., ending all tours.

Old GLHS Tour

Join us for a final walk down memory lane through the halls of the original Gahanna Lincoln High School building. Stroll past the lockers, check out the highlights of the building and recall the cherished memories, friendships and milestones forged within those walls.

This is a special opportunity to honor the school’s long, rich history and say a proper farewell to the building that served our community so faithfully for decades.

*Due to safety reasons, this tour will strictly follow the designated path.

Entrance: After 11 a.m., please enter the tour for the old building through the main entrance on Hamilton Road or the side "cafeteria" entrance designated on the site map.

Shuttles: Shuttles from Clark Hall will drop off at the main entrance of the old building after leaving the new building, and pick up passengers at this main entrance before returning to Clark Hall.

Let's turn the page and step into a new chapter! We welcome you to embark on a tour of the stunning new Gahanna Lincoln High School. Experience firsthand the innovative learning environments, state-of-the-art labs, modern athletic facilities and collaborative spaces designed to inspire our students for generations to come.

This new building stands as a testament to our community’s commitment to academic excellence and represents the bright future ahead.

*Due to staffing, we ask that all on the tour abide by the designated route.

Entrance: After 11 a.m., please enter the tour for the new building through the South End Athletic Entrance on the side closest to the football stadium or the main entrance by Havens Corners Road. Both are designated on the site map.

Shuttles: Shuttles from Clark Hall will drop off and pick up at the South End Athletic Entrance. The shuttle will stop at the old building before returning to Clark Hall.

Parking and Shuttle Service

PARKING

Limited parking on the high school site is available to the south (nearest City Hall) and west (along Hamilton Road) of the existing building. This parking will not have shuttle service to either building.
We encourage you to park at Clark Hall where we will have shuttle service running throughout the day between the Clark Hall and each building.
Accessible parking can be found to the south of the stadium behind the new building. Please see site map for location. (This is the ONLY parking available in this lot.)

FREE DISTRICT SHUTTLE

The shuttle service will run from Clark Hall to the new GLHS Athletic Entrance for the ribbon cutting.
When the tours begin, the shuttle will run a continuous loop from Clark Hall to:
- The new GLHS Athletic Entrance
- To the old GLHS Main Entrance
- Back to Clark Hall

This shuttle is available to get from one building to the other, and back to the parking lot at Clark Hall.

Please note that the loop only goes one direction, so you may need to wait through one stop to get to your desired location (i.e. You board at the new building to get back to the Clark Hall parking lot, the shuttle will first stop at the old GLHS).

The shuttle schedule is as follows:

9:15 a.m.	Shuttles begin from Clark Hall to the new GLHS entrance for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
10:05 a.m.	Shuttle service pauses during Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
10:45 a.m.	Shuttle service resumes, now including all three stops
2:15 p.m.	Final rider picked up from Clark Hall taken to buildings (dropoffs at Clark Hall will still continue)
3:30 p.m.	Shuttle Service ends
